Based
upon one-to-one conversations, comments from the Parish
Assembly, and other feedback from parishioners, the
Pastoral Planning Council has identified four
comprehensive long-term goals that reflect the hopes and
concerns of our parishioners for the coming years.
Our Parish Goals
Worship:
To enhance and encourage participation in worship.
Teaching: To
develop opportunities to support lifelong faith
formation.
Service: To
broaden our response to the needs of our
parishioners and community.
Communication: To
promote effective communication about parish life.
The
Pastoral Council believes that these goals are focused
enough to address the most pressing matters facing the
parish, as well as broad enough to invite creative
solutions from all parishioners as we plan the future of
St. Anselm Parish together.
Over
the past year, parishioners have worked together to
design and initiate specific objectives to help achieve
each goal. These objectives are each at varying stages
of development and implementation:
Current
Objectives
Goal 1: To
enhance and encourage participation in worship.

Since
the pastoral council exists in part to gather feedback
from parishioners so that St. Anselm's can achieve its
parish goals, please contact us if you: would like to
find out how to help participate in the objectives'
programs; have any questions about the objectives; would
like share your thoughts about these objectives; or,
have suggestions about potentially new objectives.
