What
are One-to-One Conversations? One-to-One Conversations
are short dialogues, lasting approximately 20 minutes,
between individual parishioners about the participants'
views about the Church and the parish, the important
issues facing the parish, and hopes for the future of the
parish.
Who
is involved in the One-to-One Conversations? All
members of the Parish Pastoral Planning Council will be
available to meet with individual parishioners interested
in sharing their thoughts and ideas.
Are
there specific topics to be discussed? NO. The
One-to-One conversations are informal dialogues about
whatever the individual participant believes is important
to consider in developing plans for the next five years of
our parish. We are interested in parish members' thoughts
about what is already good, what areas need improvement,
what problems they see, what their hopes for the future of
the parish are, and what they suggest and recommend be
included in our parish plan.
Who
can participate? Anyone who thinks of St. Anselm as
their parish is welcome to participate. You do not have to
be officially registered or even be a regular, weekly
participant at Sunday Mass. Since the purpose of these
conversations is to find out how St. Anselm can serve even
better all Catholics in our community, the opinions of
everyone who has an interest in the future development of
the parish are needed.
How
can I participate? Send a request to the Parish
Pastoral Planning Council requesting a One-to-One
Conversation. As soon as possible, a member of the Parish
Pastoral Planning Council will contact you to arrange a
time and place. Click
here to complete a One-to-One Conversation Request Form.
Why
is this important? The information gathered through
the One-to-One conversations, along with the results of
the Parish Survey conducted on the week-end of September
30 - October 1, will provide the core themes to be
considered during the rest of the planning process. It
will provide the basis for the activities to take place at
the Parish Assembly to be held in early December and the
development of the Goals and Objectives to be included in
the Parish Pastoral Plan to be submitted to the Bishop. |
